Trash Talkin’…Products that Make Recycling Easy!

October 12, 2010 by val Leave a Comment

Here are a variety of products out there to help you make recycling an organized and easy (and even fashionable) process !

For the Kitchen

This single bin unit made by Simplehuman (one of my favorite brands for organizing) has such a fashionable look compared to the typical recycling bin and is a great price at only $30! It would be fantastic to buy to start recycling the office water bottles!

This sleek organizer is more expensive than the basic bins or foldable bags (around $100). It features 3 pop our bins for easy disposal and cleaning.

This is a really unique way to use that corner space! The unit spins to make it easy to access the proper bin.

Bins

Bins are one of the most economical ways to keep your recycling organized. I realize that alot of people may not prefer the bright colors in the home so they also make it in a clear/white plastic These retail around $40 a set (but you may be able to find them for around $25 if you keep an eye out 😉

(Looking for less color? They also come in White)

Foldable Bags

These bins are super cute! They feature handles for carrying and can fold up when not in use (big plus if you are short on space like me!)

Most Innovative

By far, the most innovative product that I found was the Flings Recycle Bin. It stores completely flat. When you are ready to use you “fling” it open. There are ties to close it when it is full (It holds 60 cans or bottles) and it is the most economically priced at just $3.99/bin. Great idea for parties and cookouts too and there are custom parterns to go with a BBQ or birthday party!

Outdoor storage
This is certainly not an inexpensive option (runs about $300), but I really like the way it looks and would be great for those that have space and would like to keep their trash management out of sight!
