Has your child outgrown a baby carrier?
If you have a child between the ages of 3-6 there can be times when long or difficult walks are just too much for them. However, by 3 most kids have outgrown a baby carrier. So what do you do?

I was really impressed with how well it was made and I guess for a carrier in the price range you would expect nothing less.
It weighs about 5 pounds and is fairly comfortable on the back.
I put my 5 1/2 year old in it and while she isn’t a “big” kid, the impact of the weight and the way it distributed across my shoulders and hips was a bit awkward. I plan to get out on another hike soon and see if we can make some adjustments to make the weight distribution more comfortable. She also set a little awkwardly in the seat so we will continue to work to try to make her position better which should help. They do provide instructions for the product to help you get the best fit, but I think it also takes a little adjustment on your own to eventually get it right. If you are changing out kids which are different sizes the readjusting could get a little tiring.
Overall it’s a great concept and I have only seen a few other bulkier options on the market, so I think with a little practice this product could be a lifesaver for parents who are avid hikers and travelers.
